WHO WILL BE TEACHING MY CHILD?

All our teachers are industry professionals who are currently training or who have previously trained at some of the top UK training facilities. All of our teachers have been DBS checked and Safeguarding trained. If you’d like to know more about a specific teacher for a particular class please do drop Danny a line on WhatsApp: 07982 513 590.

WILL MY CHILD HAVE OPPORTUNITIES TO PERFORM IN FRONT OF AN AUDIENCE?

Yes. At the end of every term there is a SASA Showcase currently held at KWS Theatre Space in Harpenden. This costs nothing except the price of a ticket for audience members.

DOES SASA DO COMPETITIONS OR EXAMS?

The Street Dance and Contemporary Crews do competitions, but these classes are by invite or audition only. We do not hold exams here at SASA.

DOES SASA RUN CLASSES ACROSS THE SCHOOL HOLIDAYS?

There are no classes across school holidays but there fee paying workshops and showcases that parents can sign their child/children up for. 

DOES MY CHILD HAVE TO WEAR A UNIFORM?

We ask that children wear all black tee shirts and leggings, trainers for street dance and black jazz shoes, pumps or trainers for musical theatre and bare feet for contemporary. SASA t-shirts can be purchased upon request.

WHAT AND WHERE IS THE PIONEER CLUB?

The Pioneer Club is a long-standing young person’s centre in St Albans specialising in music, skateboarding and the performing arts. SASA is one of their partners.
